Do I need a denture prescription?
If you still have some of your own teeth, you’ll need a check-up with a dentist before Simon can make your partial denture.
The dentist checks your remaining teeth and gums, then gives Simon written instructions for your denture. These instructions are called a denture prescription.
Already have a dentist?
You can use your own dentist. There’s no need to change practices.
How to get your denture prescription

Give us a call
Call 01793 540128. We’ll explain whether you need a prescription and help you get started.

See a dentist
Book with your own dentist or contact a practice listed on this page. Say: “I’m having a denture made at Cotswold Denture Clinic and need a check-up and denture prescription.”
Ask the practice about the cost when you book. If you need any dental treatment first, the dentist will explain it.

Come back to Simon
Once we have your prescription, we can arrange the next steps in making and fitting your denture.
Have no natural teeth or implants?
You can usually see Simon directly for full dentures. If anything needs checking by a dentist first, he’ll explain why.
